Familiar Shoreline
2010 A little tiny oil painting. This one looks really nice in low lighting. This is inland a ways from the below painting painting where the canyon opens up into plateaus and small lakes, an older tree visible in the distance (now a major metropolis). |

Overwhelmingly Familiarity 2005 This is a recurring place in my dreams. The actual painting's much more dark and subtle, the detail only comes out in the right light. It's terribly similar to a spot on Block Island, a tiny piece of land in the Atlantic accessible by ferry from Rhode Island. |
